Some Bethany students study psychology with plans to go on to advanced degrees preparing for careers in psychology, higher education, and business related fields. In order to work as a professional psychologist a graduate degree is necessary.

Other students study psychology because they want to use their knowledge in a practical way in careers which include the areas of human services, public administration, business and communication.
