| In May and June 2008, President Leonard, Sheila and Quade accompanied the Bethany College Choir during its spring tour of Europe. The group traveled to Germany and Sweden on an itinerary organized by Lindsborg’s own Anderson Tours, with the Rev. Robert Dotzel ’76 as tour guide.
From January to May 2008, President Leonard traveled to 20 cities around Kansas and the United States to meet alumni, parents, and friends; update them on campus happenings; and engage them in Bethany's strategic planning efforts.
Sites of Future Forums included: Salina, McPherson, Lindsborg, Lawrence, Kansas City, Topeka, Manhattan, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Washington D.C., Omaha, Wichita, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Seattle, Great Bend, Longmont, Denver, Colorado Springs and Oakland. Two Future Forums were also hosted on-campus for constituents to share and dream about Bethany’s bright future.
