Swede Days -March 2, 2012

Interested in seeing what it's like to be a student at Bethany College? Come to a Swede Friday or Swede Monday and take a walking tour of campus, attend a class, eat lunch in the cafeteria, and visit with current students and financial aid staff. Your family and friends are welcome, too.

   
Preview Day  

Get snapshot views of the Bethany College experience from different panel discussions with faculty and current students, as well as staff members from student life, admissions and financial aid. Then join us for lunch; family members are welcome.

Meet with an academic advisor to pick out your classes and go through the registration process with Financial aid, accounting, student life and more.
   
Junior Day -May 4, 2012
Take your first look at Bethany College during your junior year of high school. You'll tour campus, eat lunch in the cafeteria and visit with current students. You'll also learn more about life as a college student. Family members are welcome.
   
Transfer Day - April 28, 2012
Students transferring from another college or university will have the opportunity to learn about continuing their education at Bethany College. Have your transcript evaluated and find out what classes you need to take in order to finish your bachelor's degree, tour campus and visit with current students and financial aid staff.
   
Honors &
Scholarship Day
- February 4, 2012

Students who meet select criteria are invited to compete for three full-tuition Bethanian Honors Scholarships, as well as other awards, and to apply for entrance into the Bethany Honors Program. The event day includes a campus tour, lunch, interviews with faculty and a written essay (for the scholarship competition only). You must be accepted to attend this day.

Submit these required documents by the due date:
  • 3.5 GPA or above (on a 4.0 scale)
  • 25 ACT or above
  • Top 1/4 of your class
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Personal Resume
  • Official Transcripts
  • Test Scores

 

Honors Program

Honors Program entrance criteria:

Submit these required documents by the due date:
  • 3.6 GPA or above (on a 4.0 scale)
  • 26 ACT or above
  • One Letter of Recommendation from a High School Teacher
  • Official Transcript
  • Test Scores
  • Personal Essay (explain how the program will help your career goals in 500-700 words.)

Competing for both? You will need: Two Letters of Recommendation (One from a High School Teacher), Official Transcript, Test Scores, Personal Resume, and Personal Essay.

Fine Arts Day -February 11, 2012
