Singers of all voice ranges are invited to join the chorus for Bethany College’s Messiah Festival of the Arts beginning in March.
The Bethany Oratorio Society chorus will perform Handel’s “Messiah” on Palm and Easter Sundays, March 28 and April 4, at 3 p.m. “St. Matthew Passion” will be presented on Good Friday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m.
The first rehearsal will take place Sunday, January 31, at 3 p.m. in Presser Hall, followed by a reception. Regular rehearsals will be eachTuesday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Sundays from 3 – 5 p.m.

Singers should be 16 years old by April 1 to be eligible to join. New singer auditions to determine pitch retention and voice part will take place one hour before the first four rehearsals. No prepared song is necessary.
