Photographer Steve Hebert will visit Bethany College on Wednesday, April 7 to inspire students and share his work with the college community.
Hebert, a Wichita native, has a long career as a photojournalist. He began his career in North Carolina before leaving the newspaper business for a freelance career in 2004. Since then, he has photographed for the New York Times, Time, Newsweek, US News and World Reports, and USA Today. He first visited Bethany on February 15 to photograph the handbell ensemble during a chapel service.
During his upcoming visit, Hebert will participate in mass media writing and photography classes, present during chapel from 10:30-10:50 a.m. and meet with the student newspaper and yearbook staffs. He will also present during an open lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Levin Room of Pihlblad Memorial Union where his past work will be displayed.
