CaptureBethany College at MindFire, 3805 East Harry in the heart of East Wichita presents, “Connected to Industry.” As a service to its prospective and current students MindFire each summer conducts a Connect to Industry type of event. This year’s event features three important guests: Marty Skibosh from E3 Studios in Los Angeles, Dustin d’Arnault from Nickelodeon Television also in Los Angeles, and Paul Temple a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist from Kansas City.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 1. Skibosh and Temple will be at MindFire in person during the day, with d’Arnault giving a question and answer session to students via video conferencing.
Skibosh has worked for every major television network, over the past 10 years, to help create some of the world’s top shows like “Wipeout”, “Fear Factor” and “The Shield” with Michael Chiklis. He has been nominated for an American Cinema Editors Award for his outstanding work on A&E’s critically acclaimed hit “Beyond Scared Straight”. He is the executive producer for E3 Studios, a video production company that creates original media. His Hollywood experience combined with working with some of the top direct marketers in the world allows E3 Studios to help entrepreneurs thrive with powerful visual messaging that not only connects, but converts. He will give a public presentation from 10 to 11 a.m. The rest of the afternoon he will spend personal time with students.
d’ Arnault is an illustrator and character developer for Nickelodeon. He just recently moved to Los Angeles from Dallas, where he previously worked for ReelFX. While at ReelFX he developed characters for such animated full-length feature films as, “The Book of Life” and “Free Birds.”

Temple is a digital storyboard artist in Kansas City and has worked on many KC video shoots with local production companies. He will have a Digital Draw Along with current MindFire students from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Bethany College at MindFire is a non-profit Liberal Arts educational institution and offers courses for personal enrichment as well as Bachelor of Arts Degrees and a Certificate in: Audio Recording Arts, Digital Filmmaking, 3D Computer Animation and Video Game Design. Public tours of the incredible facilities at MindFire will be available from 9 a.m. to noon.
