PEARSON CENTER DEDICATION 0112Former members of the Bethany College Handbell Ensemble will gather on Saturday, April 30 for a day of fellowship and music that will conclude with a concert at 4 p.m. in Presser Auditorium.

The concert will include guest conductor Chris Peck ’96. He is an accomplished handbell ringer and composer. He currently performs with the River City Ringers. Featured pieces will include: “Toccata for a Joyous Day” by Paul McKlveen, “Grazioso” by Arnold Sherman, “Baby Elephant Walk” arranged by Sondra Tucker and “Pirates of the Caribbean” arranged by Kevin McChesney.

The Kanza Quartet, featuring Janelle Flory-Schrock, Kendry Flory, Dani Hanna, and Dr. Melody Steed will perform “Maple Leaf Rag” and “Solace” by Scott Joplin.

A reception will follow the concert in Presser Hall lobby. The concert is free and open to the public.
