“Bethany College has a reputation for producing successful professionals who love God and love people,” President Will Jones said. “I’m thrilled that so many students have been attracted to us this year. I look forward to seeing how they will grow and the positive impact they will make on our local community.”

New students arrived for check-in early Sunday morning and are taking part in orientation activities this week. Classes begin at Bethany on Thursday, August 25. On Friday, the Opening Convocation will be the official kick-off to the academic year with President Jones, Bethany’s newly appointed 14th president, speaking to the student body, faculty, staff and community members.

Students in the freshman class come from 22 states across the country, with 32 percent coming from Kansas, and from 10 countries. Official headcount numbers will be released after the 20th day of classes on September 22, 2016.
