posterWho are these men of Bethany in 1918 posing in front of the Carnegie Library?

Sophomore honor students will try to answer that question when they present a program about Bethany during World War I on Friday, December 9 at 3:30 p.m. in Lindquist Hall.

Students will explore how Bethany College was affected by the war, the young men from campus and from Lindsborg who fought, and in some cases died, in the war, and the people of Lindsborg, many of whom had mixed feelings about fighting the Germans in 1917-18. The students who have participated in the class have produced a webpage that features many photos of Bethany and Lindsborg that date back to WWI and will share some of them at the program.

Student presenters included: Annie Halterman, Zoe Levesque, Alanna Lustfield, Rhett Mizer, Emily Perkins, Kalyn Powers, and Alyssa Wierman.
