Eleanor Heimbaugh, a visiting professor of art at Bethany College, will be the featured artist in “Trace – Artifacts of the Future,” her Masters of Fine Arts Exhibition beginning Friday, December 2 at the Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.

Trace is a pseudo-scientific investigation of future artifacts, specimens, and fossils from 21st-century American culture. This body of work considers how these archaeological discoveries may be found, interpreted, viewed, valued in the future, and what histories or narratives they may tell.

The exhibition will continue through December 23. The Moss-Thorns Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
