Bethany College Music Department presents two concerts this week. The Symphonic Band will be performing Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. The Chamber Orchestra and The Jazz Band will be performing Thursday, Nov. 16, 7:30 p.m. Both concerts will take place in Presser Hall Auditorium.

On Tuesday, the Symphonic Band will perform “Emblem of Unity” by J.J. Richards, “Chorale and Shaker Dance” by John Zdechlik, “America the Beautiful” by Carmen Dragon and “On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss” by David R. Holsinger.

On Thursday, the Chamber Orchestra will perform a few selections including “Married Life (Theme from Up).”  The Jazz Ensemble will then join them on stage, and together they will play “Autumn Leaves.” Following this, the Jazz Ensemble will perform their portion of the concert.

These concerts are free and open to the public.
