Bethany College will confer degrees upon nearly 115 students on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Presser Hall Auditorium.
The ceremony honors students who have earned Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Music Education from the college during the 2017-2018 academic year. Summer, fall, interterm, and spring graduates will be honored during a Baccalaureate worship service at 10:30 a.m. in Presser Hall on Sunday followed by Commencement at 2 p.m.
President William A. Jones will speak at Commencement joined by senior class speaker Aspen Bryant, a biology major from Las Vegas, Nevada. Christian Cooper, an instrumental music teaching major from Effingham, Kansas, will provide special music during the program.
Bethany’s Class of 2018 includes 55 students from Kansas as well as students from 21 different states and five different countries. Forty percent of the class will graduate with honors.
