Bethany College has selected Joshua Snider, a 2013 graduate of Bethany College, as Director of Campus Safety. He earned degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
After several years of working in the hospitality industry, Joshua has returned to Bethany College to pursue his passion for helping others. Dean of Student Development, Ryan Van Dusen, is very excited about the addition of Joshua to the Bethany College community and believes his “attention to detail and focus on the safety of our students, faculty, and staff will be a great asset to the college.”
“When I arrived to Bethany in 2008 I instantly felt welcomed and part of a deeper community. As Director of Campus Safety, I have the perfect opportunity to give back to this community that gave so much to me,” Joshua said.
As director of campus safety, Snider will be asked to take a holistic approach to safety. During the first year, Josh will help in evaluating the college policies, practices and procedures from a wide range of safety and emergency preparedness issues.
