Symphonic Band

The Bethany College Symphonic Band brings together talented wind, brass, and percussion players from around the college and city to perform wind ensemble and symphonic band music from a repertoire that spans the sixteenth through the twenty-first centuries. It is not required to be a music major to play with this group.

Jazz Ensemble

This ensemble performs many styles of jazz. The ensemble gives several performances each year, featuring faculty and student soloists and combos; the group is also in demand for informal gigs in the Lindsborg area. The band performs the very best in jazz, rock, and popular music within a concert framework.

Bethany College Blue Dozen pep band

Blue Dozen Pep Band

The Blue Dozen Pep Band” is the traditional name for the Bethany Pep Band. The group performs at school spirit functions, and at home football and selected basketball games.

Brass Quintet

Brass Ensemble

The Bethany Brass performs a substantial amount of early music, liturgical settings, classical transcriptions and twentieth century original works. The group performs frequent run-out concerts and church services throughout the Midwest and embarks on more lengthy tours during interterm on alternate years. Audition is required.

Saxophone Ensemble

This group plays at many functions throughout the year. Its repertoire is drawn from Classic saxophone literature to swing and pop music of today. Recently they performed at the Region 6 Convention of the World Saxophone Congress.
