Bethany College offers a competitive scholarship and awards program recognizing students for past achievement and potential for future success. Scholarships and awards will be offered to students based on a complete review of the student’s application.
Priority Deadline – April 1
To meet the priority deadline, complete the following items:
Acceptance to Bethany
Have a valid FAFSA on file in the financial aid office
Complete all try-outs, auditions, interviews, or portfolio reviews.
These scholarships are offered to eligible incoming students based on academic achievements. They are renewable as long as the student stays in good standing with the college.
Honors Program Scholarships
Honors Program Scholarships are awarded to students who are accepted into the Honors Program. They are renewable as long as the student stays active and in good standing with the Honors Program. Visit the Honors Page for more information.
Full Tuition Scholarship (4 years renewable) –
Scholarship awards are selected by a panel of judges. Two Presidential Scholarships will be awarded annually and contestants will be chosen from among the most academically gifted applicants for admissions. New first-year students need to be admitted to Bethany and qualify for one of the top two merit scholarships in order to attend. The Presidential Scholarship supersedes all other Bethany College scholarships and aid. Please contact your admissions counselor to see if you qualify.
Fine Arts Awards
Fine arts awards are offered to selected students who qualify in the areas of music, art, and theatre. Award amounts and renewability are at the discretion of the head of the program, and students must be in good standing with the college.

Athletic awards are offered to selected students who participate in our athletic programs. Interested students must contact the coach for more information. Aid for Non-Traditional Students
Bethany believes pursuing a four-year degree should be attainable at any time in your life. Therefore, we offer Bethany Grants to help our non-traditional students who may not fit into the traditional scholarship matrix. To be considered, apply at www.bethanylb.edu/apply and submit a FAFSA.
