BETHANY COLLEGE HOLDS WARNER HALL RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY

August 19, 2022

LINDSBORG, KS., AUG. 17, 2022 – Bethany College held a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion and reopening of Warner Hall on Aug. 11, 2022. Warner Hall was constructed in 1969 and named in honor of a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Walter Warner. The Warner renovation was made possible with a generous $3.6 million gift from Roy and Donice Applequist.

The newly renovated building is a 46,883-square-foot resident hall with 116 beds. Each room is for one to two students with a shared bathroom. Renovations included a new roof, flooring, electrical and plumbing upgrades, HVAC, windows, and more.

President Elizabeth Mauch reminded those in attendance, “Do not walk away today thinking that the work is done. Instead, let this positive outcome renew your commitment and serve as the momentum needed that [Arvin] Hahn, Bethany's 8th president, described as the untiring dedication and persistence that Bethany will always need for success."
