Alumni & Lindsborg Community Invited to Poverty Simulation Hosted by Staff Senate

April 22, 2022

The Bethany College Staff Senate will be hosting a poverty paradigm training and would like to invite Alumni and Lindsborg community. Each participant will role play a person experiencing survival mode for one month simulated in four, fifteen minute weeks. The results are new understandings of why families on the lower economic scale do the things they do. The simulation is built to be taken into communities and into schools to initiate the paradigm shifts necessary to activate great generational change.

This event will be on May 25th in Stroble Gym 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Snacks will be provided. Please leave food allergies in the comment section when you sign up. Please RSVP so enough food and volunteers can be arranged.
