Alumni & Lindsborg Community Invited to Poverty Simulation Hosted by Staff Senate

The Bethany College Staff Senate will be hosting a poverty paradigm training and would like to invite Alumni and Lindsborg community. Each participant will role play a person experiencing survival mode for one month simulated in four, fifteen minute weeks. The results are new understandings of why families on the lower economic scale do the things they do. The simulation is built to be taken into communities and into schools to initiate the paradigm shifts necessary to activate great generational change.


This event will be on May 25th in Stroble Gym 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Snacks will be provided. Please leave food allergies in the comment section when you sign up. Please RSVP so enough food and volunteers can be arranged.

Bethany College is proud to announce the return of sideline cheer, launching with the 2025–26 academic year. Leading the program is newly appointed head coach Patricia Smith, an experienced educator and cheer coach. Sideline cheer will return to Bethany’s home football and basketball games.

Bethany College is pleased to announce the appointment of Audrey Saxton as the new Assistant Professor of English. Saxton earned both her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in English from Penn State University, where she taught courses in writing and composition, world literature, and pre-1800 literature.

Bethany College is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Case as the new Assistant Professor of Religion. Case earned her doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016 in Ancient Mediterranean Religions with a graduate portfolio in Women's and Gender Studies.
