International Student Admissions

Bethany College values a learning environment enriched with many cultures and ethnicities. The following is required for all international students seeking admission to Bethany:

• Bethany College free Application for Admission
• Official secondary school and all college transcripts whether or not credit was received. If from outside the USA, submitted to InCred* for evaluation and results sent to Bethany College. A 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is required for admission
• If from an English-speaking country, ACT results (composite score of 18) or SAT (score of 940 on the evidence-based Reading & Writing + Math)
• If English is not the native language of the students, results from English proficiency tests must be submitted from one of the following options:
•     TOEFL: Minimum score of 525 of the paper-based test (pbT) or 71 on internet-based test (ibT); IELTS: minimum score of 5.0; PTE: 

 minimum score of 50.

• A signed affidavit of support
• A copy of the student’s passport with photo
• A bank letter showing adequate funds to cover the cost of the first year of school at Bethany or $50,000 minus the Bethany award offered to the student. All letters must be in English and in U.S. dollars.
• International students are required to pay the equivalent of the first month's payment before arriving on campus.

Deadline for admission for international students is July 1 for the fall term and November 2 for the spring term.

*The student will incur all costs associated with the InCred evaluation.
