BETHANY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES THE 2023 HOMECOMING COURT ROYALTY

October 18, 2023

LINDSBORG, KAN., OCT. 17, 2023 - Bethany College announced the 2023 Homecoming Royalty on Friday, Oct. 13, after the annual Student Talent Show that marked the beginning of Homecoming and Hyllningsfest activities this year. Elyse Boden, a Music Education major from Goessel, Kansas, and Enoch Ojo, a Biology major from Houston, Texas, were announced as Homecoming Royalty.

"I have made so many friendships and connections as a student in my years at Bethany. Getting Homecoming Royalty really made me realize how many I have made with people. I think this honor helped me feel seen by my peers. I am so thankful to be supported by staff, community, and especially students at the college," says Boden.

Ojo replied, "The feeling of the crown on my head will forever stay intertwined as a core memory. Everywhere I went, people were sure to recognize and congratulate me; I'm hoping that people experience that feeling of success in their lifetime. I also thank God for blessing me with the support from the track team, the Black Association of Student Scholars, and other organizations I am involved in."

The second runners-up were Caleb Copeland and Martina Aeschliman, and the first runners-up were Matt Lucas and Piper Marquez.
