Before transitioning to a faculty role in 2016, Jackson-Stenlund spent three years as the Swedes’ Head Athletic Trainer. Prior to that, she worked for two years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bethany College.
She earned an Associate of Science in Sports Medicine from Iowa Western Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Missouri Valley College, and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Physical Education from Hastings College.
Jackson-Stenlund is certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is a member of the Kansas Athletic Training Society. She also holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
She lives in Lindsborg with her wife, Katie, their son, Elliot, their four dogs—Ozzie, Louie, Walter, and Teddy—and their rabbit, Hank.
