Bethany College is proud to announce a high school bridge program for students in 11th and 12th grade to Explore Your Path to college. Students are invited to apply for a year-long experience titled Explore Your Path as part of our new initiative Path to Your Purpose.


This program provides an avenue for students to further develop their interest in business, digital arts, and criminal justice AND gain college credit by use of an interdisciplinary collection of courses. Each student will have an opportunity to complete college-level courses and a program designed to prepare them for all aspects of college.

You are invited to attend the Inaugural Year

Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

  • Fall semester at Bethany College is August 22 - December 15, 2022


  • Tuition and associated costs will be provided by the Patterson Family Foundation


  • Eligible students can participate in up to two classes per semester
  • Interested Students should complete our application form.

All applications received after June 1, 2022 will be accepted if space permits.

Introduction to Business

Emphasizes critical issues impacting the business world, such as globalization, technology ethics, and diversity. Provides an overview of various functional areas and how they fit together. Experiential learning and developing team building skills are stressed. Provides an introduction to career opportunities and curriculum choices in business and economics.

Introduction to Criminal Justice

An overview of the history, philosophy, and social development of law enforcement, courts, and corrections in a democratic society. Identification and operations of local, state, and federal agencies will be covered with criminal justice career orientation.

Digital Arts Introduction

Introduction to the basics of creative workflow for 2-D and 3-D animation and working knowledge of various creative software.

Analytic Geometry and Calculus I

Designed for students interested in the sciences, mathematics, and other areas requiring a good mathematical background.

General Psychology

Introduction to the study of behavior.
