HOFFMAN NAMED EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF ADVANCEMENT AND ALUMNI

Bethany College has announced Karissa Hoffman as the Executive Director of the Office of Advancement and Alumni. Hoffman started working at Bethany in September as the Director of Planned Giving and the Endowed Scholarship Program. Hoffman has previously worked as the Associate Director of Development for the College of Engineering at Wichita State University and as the Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations at Central Christian College of Kansas.
 
“Karissa Hoffman is a valued member of our Advancement/Alumni team and has impressed me with her dedication to Bethany. I am excited that Karissa has agreed to serve as Executive Director of the Office of Advancement and Alumni. As the Executive Director, she will lead the Advancement/Alumni team, and work closely with me on strategies to continue her own development and the fundraising efforts that we have begun over the past several years,” said Dr. Elizabeth Mauch, President of Bethany College.

Bethany College is proud to announce the return of sideline cheer, launching with the 2025–26 academic year. Leading the program is newly appointed head coach Patricia Smith, an experienced educator and cheer coach. Sideline cheer will return to Bethany’s home football and basketball games.

Bethany College is pleased to announce the appointment of Audrey Saxton as the new Assistant Professor of English. Saxton earned both her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in English from Penn State University, where she taught courses in writing and composition, world literature, and pre-1800 literature.

Bethany College is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Case as the new Assistant Professor of Religion. Case earned her doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016 in Ancient Mediterranean Religions with a graduate portfolio in Women's and Gender Studies.
