THE EARL BANE FOUNDATION CONTINUES SUPPORT OF THE GOOD LIFE SCHOLARSHIP

May 20, 2022

LINDSBORG, KAN., Bethany College is pleased to announce that The Earl Bane Foundation is continuing its support of the Good Life Scholarship with a gift of $150,000. The Good Life Scholarship is a full tuition-locked scholarship, with tuition costs locked during the student's freshmen year, available to high school students graduating from a McPherson or Saline County high school. Students awarded the scholarship must live on campus and are responsible for their room and board costs and fees.

The Earl Bane Foundation was established in 1994 to support higher education, children, youth, social services, and other qualified organizations for the educational, economic, scientific, and religious benefit of Salina and Saline County, KS.

Bethany College announced the Good Life Scholarship in December 2016 to invest in the surrounding community by ensuring every student in the area had an opportunity to receive a college education. Since fall 2017, over 300 students have attended Bethany College on the Good Life Scholarship.
