The Stan and Pauline Talbott Swede Society

Founded by Stan Talbott ‘46, and Pauline Talbott ‘41, the Stan and Pauline Talbott Swede Society encourages Bethany College alumni to make annual donations of any size. It was their hope to increase giving because they understood how donations from alum would increase the likelihood Bethany might receive grants. Bethany College welcomed educators and future educators from across Kansas for a transformative day of learning and collaboration at the Bethany College Education Conference held on Saturday, April 13, 2024. The conference, "Innovative Next Steps in PreK-12 Learning," featured a dynamic lineup of speakers and workshops to empower educators with the latest educational insights and approaches.

The Bethany College Criminal Justice Department recently hosted a tabletop exercise aimed at enhancing preparedness for an active threat scenario on the college campus. The event, which took place on April 5, saw participation from various stakeholders including college representatives, Lindsborg city officials, and key figures from surrounding areas such as Ellsworth County, McPherson County, Bethany Home, Smoky Valley USD400, and the Lindsborg Community Hospital.
