Bethany Alum Majkin Holmquist ‘07 visited this week presenting our library with a bound copy of her play Tent Revival. Majkin says “ I started it as an assignment in 2016 and finalized it for my thesis in 2018.” Majkin is a Smoky Valley native and majored in English Education. She received her M.F.A. in Playwriting from the Yale School of Drama in 2018.

Her play, Tent Revival, was one of three plays featured in the 2018 Carlotta Festival of New Plays at Yale. Since then, it has received readings at New York Stage & Film and the Roundabout Theatre in New York City and at Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, NY.
