Bethany Music Department Hosts End of Year Band Concerts

LINDSBORG, KAN., April 25, 2022 – The Bethany College Department of Music will host two band concerts . Southeast of Saline Jazz Band and Bethany College Jazz Band will perform May 5 in Presser Hall on Bethany College Campus at 7:30 pm. On May 7th, the Bethany College Jazz and Symphonic Bands will perform in the Swensson Park Bandshell at 1:00 pm.


On the 5th the Bethany College Jazz Band will feature solo musicians Ben Monday, Jeff Pelischek, Dr. Keith Dodson, and Vocalist Amaya Dugan on a variety of jazz songs directed by Sean Keasling and Southeast of Saline Jazz Band. On the 7th the Bethany College Jazz Band will perform the same material with the Symphonic Bands. 


“We are excited to include Southeast of Saline Jazz Band in our end of year concert series. Bethany College believes in encouraging a younger generation of musicians. It is our privilege to host them and their director,” says Dr. Dodson 


Both events are free and open to the public.
