Biography
Kelley Menke is the current Licensure Officer and Placement Coordinator in the Bethany Education Department. She has served in this role since January 2020 and was able to add the duties of Adjunct Professor of Education in Fall of the same year. In addition to assisting and tracking education majors through the major, she is pleased to be able to serve the education faculty and work with all the students in the department. Ms. Menke received a Master of Arts in Christian Education (C.M.M.) from Southern Methodist University Perkins School of Theology in 2008. She also holds a teaching degree and license in Secondary Reading from Texas Women’s University. Kelley is a 1989 Midland University (Fremont, NE) graduate earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Public Relations.
Ms. Menke has spent most of her volunteer and professional career in education of some sort; from camp counselor to private and public education. She and her husband raised a family of two boys, spending 20 years in North Texas before relocating to Lindsborg. Kelley has been active in the Lindsborg area since 2008 including serving on the city council, in the local church, as a substitute teacher for USD400.
Kelley is grateful for the opportunity to help all students reach their potential and the ability to be a part of their discovery of strengths and weaknesses in preparation for their community roles post-graduation.
