Hispanic Heritage Month - Student Spotlight

October 14, 2021
In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month Bethany College would like to shine a light on Luis Fierro, class of 2022.

Luis was born in Juarez City Mexico and moved to the United States in 2015. Fierro, who is now living in Salina, found Bethany through a friend, Oscar Flores, who chose Bethany as well.

Fierro is a Biology and Chemistry major intending to go to medical school after graduation. When asked what he loves most about Bethany Fierro states, “I love being able to form a relationship with my professors, which is possible due to the size of the student body; they truly care about their students and you can tell by the way they act toward students.” Fierro adds, “My favorite professor would be Dr. McCormick since I have spent a great deal of time with him.”

Keep a look out for Fierro when he graduates in Spring 2022.
