LISANDRO NUNEZ NAMED TO PUERTO RICO U-23 MEN’S SOCCER NATIONAL TEAM

LINDSBORG, Kan. – Swedes men’s soccer player, Lisandro Nunez has been named to the Puerto Rico National Team U-23 squad for the 2019 CONCACAF MEN’S OLYMPIC QUALIFYING.

The 20-member squad heads to the Dominican Republic, for the Concacaf Men’s Olympic Qualifying. The Puerto Rico U-23 team opens against Saint Lucia on Wednesday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. before taking on Antigua & Barbuda on Thursday, July 18 at 4:30 p.m. Play concludes for PR Saturday, July 20 against the Dominican Republic. Game kickoff at 4:30 p.m.

The team is united and eager to leave everything on the pitch for the jersey that we wear. We are focused on playing three good matches against good selections. We hope to come out on top of our group so that we can continue representing our country in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.”

Bethany College is pleased to announce the appointment of Audrey Saxton as the new Assistant Professor of English. Saxton earned both her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in English from Penn State University, where she taught courses in writing and composition, world literature, and pre-1800 literature.
