SwedeHearts - Mary '71 & Carroll '69 Lindgren

February 17, 2022

My husband, Carroll Lindgren ('69) and I were Swedehearts at Bethany.  We started noticing each other during Messiah rehearsals on the stage of Presser Hall. I was an alto, he was a tenor, and we sat fairly close to each other!  He was also a football player at Bethany, and our first date was, you guessed it, the Lindsborg H. S. Homecoming football game.  (Carroll was a "townie").  He passed 12  years ago, but I still have many  great memories of our Swedeheart adventures at Bethany.
